Sometimes, visiting the garden first thing in the morning serves primarily as a brain boost. It isn't about harvesting zucchini and tomatoes, it's about harvesting a feast for the eyes (and the heart).
I started these Morning Glories from seed - and to see them flourishing and offering so much loveliness for all to see (well, for those who have access to my backyard), just gives me a feeling of butterflies in the belly (my emotional belly, that is).
They're like this beautifully-brave horn section ...
Resonating frequencies of "all the best for my hopes and dreams" in the midst of a tougher-than-expected season of life.
I love planting flowers in the garden to support pollinators -- of course, I do -- but also, selfishly, for the uplift they bring to my day-in-day-out existence.
And so, HAPPY MONDAY from the garden!
